Review on Blackpink: Light Up the Sky

I kinda create new routine where I watch movie/series before going to sleep so I ended up picking this movie today and start watching this at 2 in the morning. Usually, I’ll stop midway because I’ve fallen asleep but then an hour passed by and the movie finished leaving now-ENERGIZED-
ME hanging and wanting another hour of the documentary.

On a serious note though, Teddy’s question on “what is K-Pop?” is something I want to know too. Isn’t K-Pop just another music with different language? And didn’t everyone say that there’s no language barrier in music? As someone who recently dives more into the K-Pop world, there are various genres inside the so called K-Pop. They took days making mv, another level of stage concept, intense choreography, and years of training before they debuted (at least most of them). Perhaps, these bits and bops are things that defines and differentiate K-Pop.

Anyway, props to these amazing girls. Can’t imagine myself training for years with no certainty of the future, being away from family and friends, and leaving the youthful days that other teens get to experienced. They need to always live up to people’s expectation and that sucks. But again, doing things you are passionate about (and actually making a lot of money from it) and finding the perfect path for yourself is not something easy and can be experienced by everyone. These are the lucky people.
